Green Energy International-Lekoil - Otakikpo Marginal Field Development - Overview

Otakikpo is a marginal field located in OML 11, Niger Delta, with contingent reserves of 56.75 million barrels (MMbbl) of oil and 31 Bcf of gas. Peak output is expected at 30,000 barrels per day (b/d).The field is to be developed in two phases. Phase 1 includes the re-completion of two wells and the installation of an Early Production Facility with an initial production of 6,000 b/d.Phase 2 covers the subsequent incremental development of the rest of the field with up to five new wells coming onstream plus the expansion of processing infrastructure including the construction of a 1.3 MMbbl onshore terminal to be located outside of the Otakikpo field operations area. It will also see the construction of a 17-kilometer (km) export pipeline connecting the onshore terminal to an offshore buoy to handle output from Otakikpo and other fields in OML11. Production is expected to increase to 20,000 b/d.
